Financial payments in advance (going into the red/minus with your PSP): Once the project has been approved and the corresponding budgets have been allocated by the EU, project partners can book all project-related costs up to the granted amount of the budget according to the original planning. In lump sum projects, there are significant advance payments anyways, but Departments must achieve all deliverables and milestones in order to receive the full amount – any flexibility lies within the beneficiarie's own responsibility.
